The Executive Committee

THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

The commitee comprises of 14 catholic members whose majority are students pursuing various degrees in the university.

They include;

1)Chaplain

-Is the overall head of the committee and the chaplaincy at large.

2) moderator

– Is the head of the commitee.

-Chairs all exeutive and ppc meetings.

3) Vice moderator.

– In charge of the welfare needs of the parishioners

-In charge of the welfare committee.

4)Secretary

-In charge of taking minutes for all ppc meetings.

5)Liturgical secretary.

-In charge of the liturgical committee.

-In charge of the Extra Ordinary ministers of the Eucharist.

-In charge of ensuring mass is well prepared in good time.

6)Assistant Liturgical secretary.

-Takes minutes of the liturgical committee meetings.

-in charge of the mass servers and training of lectants.

7)Treasurer

– chairs the finance committee.

– In charge of sadaka collection and tithes.

-In charge of the tuckshop.

8) Assistant treasurer

-takes the minutes for the executive and finance committee.

-In charge of the sacramentals.

9)Social life secretary

– Chairs social life committee meetings.

– Organises social functions for the church.

10)Assistant social life secretary

-Supervises editorial commitee.

-In charge of Ndingi Hall.

11) CJPC representative

– is in charge of first aiders in the parish.

-Represents the church in CJPC meetings.

12)Kusa representative

-Represents the church in Kusa meetings .

-Together with the treasurer they are in- charge of the tuckshop.

13)St. Augustine representative

-Represents the non -students in the committee especially those who reside outside the school’s premises.

14)Cardinal Otunga representative

– Represents  the teaching and non-teaching staff of the university in the committee.
